Lewis has it right, I've seen the rallys where they were yelling
'traitor and off with his head'. At one an African American sound
man got told 'sit down and shut up BOY'. John McCain was once an
honorable man, but Potomic fever has cured him of that 'failing'.

Yes, this is a repeat of what we seen in the primaries. Despite who
a person supports, this intentional race baiting to "stir" up our
community will backfire.
I have sent this out to all my soldiers spouses and I hope everyone
takes a real hard look at each candidate and make there choice
accordingly. They need to see the good and the bad on both
candidates.
I just find it so amazing that everyone caters to Obama supporters
but do not bat an eye at how his supporters act. But now that I see
that the words of supporters are now being held accountable by there
prospective candidate, I am going to email all my hate mail and
death threats I got from supporting Clinton and now McCain in to CNN
and see if it compares to the crap they are blowing up now. I am
about to do a article on this very thing on my blog. This is just
another repeat from the primary

Oh...I too believe that Obama's path has been very carefully planned
out. It has been methodical and precisely planned with the masters
being Alinsky, Ayers and Acorn. Add a Saudi and a few muslims in
the mix and you have radical Obama. Ayers'
Fugitive Ways
book has been analyzed with Obama's
Dreams For My Father
and it appears, but can't be proven 100% that Ayers was the
ghostwriter for Obama. Check is out at AmericanThinker.com. This
is a nightmare that this guy could become president of our country.

Hi, I was reading a blog on the New Agenda and "The Egg War" (see:
http://www.thecjpoliticalreport.com/the_egg_war.htm) was
mentioned. I just read it. Wonderful. I am a founder of The New
Agenda. Thanks for the blog piece, it was informative and original.
I am going to order your photo book on the Antietam war site. That
looks very interesting. Best, Jennifer

This election is driving me nuts. What do you do when you want
"None of the Above?" I can't stand the idea of President Obama, I
respect McCain, but I really respect Paul Krugman of the NY Times.
After reading his last piece, I just want to throw up my hands and
write in Clinton.

Instead of the big bailout, give every company a $300 incentive. It
was good enough for us and we don't make millons in tax deferred
income. :>)

This bailout is just another White House/Congress gimmick. Why
haven't Pelosi, Reid, and the rest of the gang that couldn't shoot
straight worked on relieving unemployment or reforming questionable
business practices the whole time they have been running Congress?
Democrat, Republican. Same incompetence.

While the partisan press ogles Palin's pix from her youth, they are
ignoring completely the serious issues the public has with Obama,
the head of the Democratic ticket. With a Minister like Rev. Wright
and a political "rabbi" like Tony Rezko, you would have expected a
better performance at the debates. But what you had was an empty
suit standing at the podium. Tony and the Rev can elevate him - but
then it's up to him to clinch the deal. And he obviously fell very
short.

Hillary is still hot. You know what we need? A remake of "The
Graduate", today's version. This time she's not tragic, just sexy
and older and maybe queer. It's coming, I'm sure. ~ Sarah

What is a financial bailout that doesn't decide what these banks can
deduct on their tax returns as bad debts? A second bailout by the
American public! Think about it. I doubt if they have.

McCain's suggestion to delay the debate for the sake of a bipartisan
solution to the ails of the national economy is brilliant politics.
He gets to look like the candidate who has his priorities straight.
Obama doesn't realize that he's been had, the fool.

"It's Congress, stupid" is what we should all be saying. The best
leader in the world will not be able to get anything done as long as
Congress stands for nothing. Think about it. You need the
complacency and complicity of Congress to either pass a bill or kill
a topic. They couldn't care less what's good for the nation.

The Question not asked. I work for a gov't agency. For nearly 8
years I have waited for knowledgeable leadership at the top to
lead. I have waited for Congress to spell out what's missing at the
top. So I say to the American public - ask the candidates for
President - who will you choose to run the gov't agencies - those
you owe favors to or the man/woman most qualified to make policy and
decisions. MYRTLE

WOW. John McCain just gave millions of Democratic women a reason to
vote for him. He put a woman within a heartbeat of the Presidency.
And stole the thunder from Obama at the same time. She doesn't have
to be that good when she debates Biden. She's learning the job from
the same place Al Gore learned the job - the Vice Presidency, not
the Presidency. Top that public relations coup, BO!
This picture of John embracing a surrogate mother in Mr. Bush is, of
course, worrisome. But the picture stands as a metaphor for these
times. For those who embrace these past 8 years, it is even more
troubling for humanity at large.

Kindly tell us why Obama should pay off Hilary's debt when much of
this money was spent to defeat Obama's candidacy and diminish him?
I believe the Hillary's campaign, if run differently, would have had
many of us supporting her.

Just caught a report on CNN and I have to admit I am continually
astounded at the pro-o slant; they were showing Mr. O’s house and
then they gave the McCain response which is utterly devastating –
I’m thinking the press is after him now that hrc seems out for good
– and then Wolf Bluster asks “How does this damage McCain? I could
hardly believe it –
Do they honestly think this isn’t going to cause any damage to O?

I love that movie and was raised to love this country.
The new democratic party forgot that part. We should be loyal to
country before party always.
If our country makes a mistake it is our job as citizens to try and
correct it.
If our party makes a mistake it our job to correct it.
That is way many democrats cannot vote for obama. He is not good for
this country.

Hi Halli, Thanks
for calling out Taylor Marsh. I had a real problem with her beating
the Obama drum. She acted like it was her duty, as if she had been
asked by Hillary herself to tell us, the little ones, to fall in
line behind Obama. Her tone was authoritative and patronizing and on
top of that, she was baiting and maligning those of us who felt
differently. I remember spotting your comments one evening amidst a
high-key conversation that was going on and my first thought was, Oh
my god, Halli is really brave to butt in here! Anyway I've come back
to read your posts because I enjoy the balance of humor and reason.

Obama doesn't deserve his white grandmother. She's too good for
him. Instead, he chose to marry a woman with the same racist
atitude he has. I hope he loses in November.

I will not tolerate a platform that compromises on Pro-Choice. It's
either pro or anti-choice. A woman is not half-pregnant. That's the
last straw.

Well, just to set the record straight:
Senator Obama--and family--have visited Madelyn 4 times since the
vacation began. She is a fairly frail 85 year old woman who tires
easily.
The first visit--and apparently the only visit you seem to know
about--was just the senator alone w/o the girls or Michele. I
don't know why everyone is jumping up and down about it. So what?
Just my 2 cents.

If BO keeps snubbing people of stature, people of conscience, honest
people, there will be no one left to help elect him. George W also
punished those who disagreed with him - it was "my way or the
highway." Hasn't BO learned anything from that?
Submitted Aug. 14, 2008 10:30 P.M. est.
So now when he's forced BO grants Hillary the right to place her
name in nomination. You're right, it was that Pew Poll. You are

Obama keep his eyes on the Grand Old Flag? That'd be beneath him,
wouldn't it--and certainly not consonant with his indoctrination
from Jeremiah Wright? And Obama love his country? That, too,
wouldn't fit with his Marxist upbringing and, once again, his
indoctrination by Wright, Ayers and others. Besides, to him, it
wouldn't be fashionable, now would it?
